Hi friends! It's been a minute...sorry for the newsletter hiatus. Life got really busy, but I'm back now and with lots of news to share!
First off, let me start by welcoming my new subscribers. Thanks so much for subscribing and I hope to provide consistent content going forward as I have clearly failed you over the last six weeks!
With that, I have lots to share this week so apologies in advance for the lengthy email but I'll make this as short and sweet as possible.
As a first order of business I'd like to tell you about my latest venture: an Instagram account for my blog content - @ktgblogs. If you're on Instagram, be sure to give me a follow. I promise I won't be an annoying influencer, this is just another way to share my content and inspire others!
Second, I have to share the growth of my blogs because I'm still blown away:
It's so exciting to see the continued growth of these platforms, especially since I've only been at this for six months. So a huge thank you to all of you for following me on this journey.
And third, I've been wanting to try my hand at writing book reviews so my first one will be coming soon...stay tuned for that!
Last but not least, I have tons of content to share with you. Although I've been slacking on the newsletters, I most certainly haven't been slacking on my writing.
In the last newsletter, I announced my Light Roast series which covers defensive cybersecurity topics and I've published two new articles there since:
In addition to the above, I've published a few other security articles you might be interested in:
On the journaling front, I also have plenty to share. I've been making it a point to publish as least two journal entries a week and I think I've been successful in doing so! I hope they prove to be enjoyable reads:
With that, I'll leave you with tons of reading material. I hope everyone has a fabulous rest of their Sunday and a productive week!

Happy Weekend! What a whirlwind of a week it's been. To start, I got my second dose of the COVID vaccine on Tuesday. I did my best to hydrate, hydrate, hydrate but it still took me out for a day or two. I felt really run down, had chills for a short period of time, and some mild body aches. However, I woke up on Thursday feeling back to my normal self! Speaking of Thursday, I received AWESOME news while I was mid-workout on my lunch break. In between round two of my three-round circuit, I...
Happy Spring! Yesterday was officially the first day of spring. Oh, happy day. I spent the morning dusting off my patio furniture and swapping out my winter wreath for my spring one. It's currently sunny and 65 degrees, and I'm writing this from my deck. Pretty damn good Sunday afternoon if you ask me. Anyway, some good stuff happened last week! If you're a Dark Roast reader, you may know about my Red Team series of articles called Dark Side. Well this week I kicked off Light Roast, a Blue...
Hello and Happy Sunday! And for us weirdos in the U.S., Daylight Savings Time. Unfortunately for us, we "sprung ahead" an hour, which means I'm running on one less hour of sleep. Womp, womp. I'm happy to say I'm surviving the day though, with the help of a Venti Cold Brew from my beloved Starbucks. Last week was a productive one for me! I was inspired to start writing more regular journal entries on my publication, Unwritten Journal. So while I only have one Dark Roast article to share this...
